Laguna Serv, upholstered furniture manufacturer, uses a software solution for business process automation and performance analysis, which gives it control and visibility over its entire business and supports its development plans. The integrated ERP and BI systems enable the manufacturer to process, without errors, hundreds of orders daily, from both sales channels: online and 25 showrooms. Laguna Serv, one of the largest manufacturers of upholstered furniture in Maramures (Romania), has optimized its business operations, considerably reducing working times and being able to grow at the desired pace with the help of the integrated business management solution provided by Senior Software. With a turnover of approximately 15 million euros and a space of 35,000 square meters, Laguna Serv produces upholstered furniture, both mass-produced and customized, which is marketed in Romania, Hungary and France through various sales channels.

At the end of 2022, the Laguna Serv team replaced the old business management software with SeniorERPERP software for resource management from Senior Software, which perfectly covers the manufacturer’s specific needs. SeniorERP is integrated with SeniorVisualBIBusiness Intelligence software, used by the company to quickly generate reports, analyze key business indicators and easily visualize information of interest, structured in a single database.

“We were looking for a solution that would give us greater visibility and control over the business, allow integrated management of resources and sales channels, and provide real-time access to detailed reports and analytics. Therefore, we gave up our old ERP software and now use a solution that suits our needs, consisting of the SeniorERP and SeniorVisualBI integrated systems from Senior Software.

Implemented in November 2022, today we can say that the solution is a big plus for our company. We process hundreds of orders on a daily basis, without errors, and we have real-time control over raw material inventory. We can also obtain reports that give us centralized information on the financial situation and we can analyze and monitor each store individually in order to determine its profitability. It’s important to see how the sales situation is presented at item level, to follow the evolution of a particular model in the market, and Senior Software’s solution allows us to develop and increase productivity based on the reports offered by the system.

The company markets its products both through online sales platforms and through its own network of 25 physical stores, the sales channels being managed through Senior Software’s ERP system. SeniorERP is integrated with eMag Marketplace and the company’s online store, and this eliminated the time-consuming and error-prone manual order entry method.

With the help of ERP’s sales functionality, all customer orders are centralized and processed accurately and in real time in the system, then automatically taken into production. The system also has functions for the efficient management of supply orders and raw materials inventory required in series and unit production.

In addition, the Laguna Serv team has the possibility to track and analyze data of interest that the system retrieves from SeniorERP with SeniorVisualBI. The manufacturer can create their desired reports and dashboards with minimum effort, any relevant information can be added with a simple drag-and-drop. By tracking key indicators and analyzing data, the Business Intelligence system contributes to improved decision making and business development.

Regarding future plans, the company aims to improve relationships with B2B partners, offering them the possibility to view and track the status of orders , documents and the production process in real time, from the moment orders are sent to the factory up to the delivery of the product.
