Laguna Serv, one of the largest upholstered furniture manufacturers in Maramures, gained real-time control over raw materials and finished products stocks and, at the same time, access to consolidated reports regarding the company’s actual situation, with the help of the ERP and BI systems from Senior Software. With a turnover of around 15 million euros, the company operates in a space of approx. 35,000 sqft, where it manufactures upholstery and upholstered furniture. The products are distributed nationally, through its own network of 25 stores, and internationally, in countries such as Hungary and France.

In 2022, the company decided to invest in SeniorERP – for the integrated management of operations and SeniorVisualBI – for detailed reports & analyses, in order to optimize work times and have access to detailed analyses & reports, structured in a single database.
By integrating SeniorERP with the company’s B2C ecommerce platform, the manufacturer manages hundreds of orders each day, which it processes in real-time. It has also given up on the old method of manually introducing orders, thus streamlining operations and eliminating the risk of errors.
Additionally, the company has access to reports in real-time, regarding the company’s evolution and financial status, as well as the possibility to track market trends and product performance.

We also own an online store, and Senior Software managed to integrate the ERP system with the online commerce platform, orders being now processed in real-time. Thanks to this integration, our work was made easier and we eliminated the old way of manually introducing online orders, these being in the number of hundreds per day.”

Next, the company wants to increase B2B sales through the online portal purchased from Senior Software. Moreover, through the B2B e-commerce platform, the manufacturer will improve partner relationships, giving them the opportunity to follow order statuses, related documents and the evolution of the production in real time, from the moment the orders are sent to the factory, until they are loaded in the delivery van and then shipped to the customer.
