Trek Tor Sell, the agricultural machinery and livestock products retailer, that owns the online store Gospodaria 9, considerably improved workflows and gained complete control over the company since it started using a modern and scalable ERP solution. With the help of SeniorERP from Senior Software, the company accurately and quickly processes orders, lowering processing times by 65% per order, while optimally managing the entire business.

Prior to the partnership with Senior Software, the retailer used multiple unintegrated systems. The lack of communication between these systems affected order receiving and processing times as well as data accuracy. At the same time, the company found difficulty in gaining a clear and real-time image of certain business statuses, which was reflected in the decision making process. These challenges and many more were solutioned when SeniorERP was implemented, with the help of which the company streamlined processes and gained access to all information of interest in a singular database.

“Before, we worked in around 8 platforms, 5 of which being courier apps, which didn’t communicate between them and, as data was introduced manually, time was lost and errors appeared. Phone orders were added into an Excel file and choosing the best shipping service was done by approximation. After this, orders were added to the courier’s platform where weight and other criteria had to be taken into account. The process then continued with AWB generation and introducing data from Excel into the billing app, after which these documetns were sent to the warehouse.

Since we implemented SeniorERP, things have been greatly simplified. Orders from the website automatically enter the system, and ones who come by phone are also registered in the same place, with a distinct status. All operations are managed in the ERP. Operators access the order in the system, check product availability and easily generate the invoice. After this, documents are sent to the warehouse, where AWBs are quickly generated and the bar code is scanned through the ERP as well. The solution tells you if the product is available at your supplier, it makes sure that orders are complete and it automatically generates supply orders. Thus, order processing times have been lowered by 65%. Basically, from receiving and until shipping, everything is done very fast – we are talking about just two clicks.”

Trek Tor Sell has its own storage space of 1,500 sqm and has approx. 10,000 products displayed in Gospodaria9.ro, divided in the following categories: machinery, animal husbandry, home and garden, solar panels and accessories, auto. These are dedicated mostly to the agro-industrial sector, the main target being mostly made out of small businesses.

Each day, the retailer processes hundreds of orders, and implementing a performant system can allow the quick receiving of orders from the online store and accurate processing of data, was very important for the well being of the company. In 2021, it registered a turnover of 1.5 million RON, managing to multiply it by almost 8 times in 2023, respectively approx. 12 million RON. This year, the company also registered a very good evolution, the retailing already surpassing the turnover it reached last year.
